Woah. Just learned of this morning's Emmy nominations: American Horror Story is tied with Mad Men for the most nominations. 17! Nice time to be joining the show!

Perhaps my favorite anecdote from this recent run in Taos: a woman came to the box office with ten bucks and a dozen eggs from her coop. She got in.

BEAUTIFUL REVELATION: In 3 days, I made more doing self-produced theatre in the boonies than I make in 2 weeks at my very respectable, survival job in Los Angeles.

Just did a press junket at KGEM-TV for the Action on Film International Film Festival!

I've just been informed that people are STILL trying to make reservations... FOLKS! The show is OVER!!! The 21 messages you left with reservations an hour prior to showtime just about killed my 73 y/o mother running the box office! She is convalescing, and I have skipped town!!

Got about the nicest compliment ever last night, when a man after the show said, "that was the best hour he'd spent in years."

OY. Only in Taos do you consider adding a 3rd performance to a given night, 4 hours before it's supposedly going to happen.
