WALKED TO YOGA from my new place in HALF the time it takes me to DRIVE from the old. You know what that means: less time in traffic, more time in Eka Pada Galavasana in my Shama Jade unitard, of course!

On this Christmas Eve, I can't stop thinking about Rose's two kids, Shelby & Luke, dressed here as orphans for our "Orphans" episode. It all just rings a little too true, having just lost their mother themselves... Please help them through this difficult time: http://www.gofundme/RoseSiggins

Another memory of Rose, and our beloved band of freaks:
I remember once visiting Rose in the hospital while we were shooting "Freak Show"... When I entered her room, I was struck by its diversity: there was Emmy & Oscar winner, Jessica Lange, Emmy nominee, Sarah Paulson, Rose (who, until only recently had been an auto-mechanic), and me... all brought together out of the common concern and love for this woman. I though, "wow, what a great group" -- not just within those four wall (though that too) -- but that cast and crew, in general. I'm so grateful to have had that time with them, and Rose, in particular.

I threw down my own personal, second line for Rose last night. She would not want me moping! Thank you, Damien & Devin Joiner for replacing the dirge with a brass band. Rose would've approved. https://www.facebook.com/naomi.grossman.5/videos/vb.695503801/10153416385178802/?type=3&theater

I loved Rose Siggins very much. Pepper, alternatively, loved her body double. A LOT. Here is their sex-tape... Rose derived endless enjoyment from such on-set silliness. I'm so glad I have this to look back on and laugh and remember her by. https://www.facebook.com/naomi.grossman.5/videos/vb.695503801/10153414470868802/?type=3&theater

I regret to say our dear friend and co-star, Rose Siggins passed away this morning.
I feel like Elsa Mars said it best: "The death of a beloved monster is always a sorrow, but never a surprise. If oddly-formed organs or a random physical anomaly doesn't claim them, then it is the sheer density of their blaze. A cary's life burns brighter than most. It is bound to extinguish sooner."
Please help support her family during this difficult time: https://gofundme.com/RoseSiggins

Art is imitating my life! So glad I hadn't seen last night's ep of AHS: Hotel when I stayed in this "presidential suite" last week... Complete with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, bar, and 2 random rooms for no reason, this "room" had limited light-switches, and most SURELY a secret catacomb of body parts behind the armoire!! Relieved to be back in my humble home without vaults!

WAY BACK at Parker Jr. High School, just outside Denver, circa 1990, I was cast in the title role of our school's production of "The Bad Seed." Tonight, I met the ORIGINAL "Rhoda," Patty McCormack, who was OSCAR NOMINATED for said role in 1956 (at the age of 10)! I swear I've seen that movie a hundred times... Best of all, she's also seen AHS, and is a fan of mine!

There aren't enough superlatives in the world to accurately describe this GIFT of a weekend! Meeting Anne Rice, partying with fans, attending opulent galas and lively, fun panels, being showered with actual gifts of flowers & paintings & parasols & dolls... Thank you to Sue Quiroz for her extraordinary hospitality, as well as Shane Garner, Mary Dugas & the other vampires-n-witches of the Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club (ARVLFC), Ebony Parish & Tyler Green for costuming, James Mullen for agenting, and my Who Dats for sharing in this MOST MEMORABLE HALLOWEEN!!!
