Acid Betty was the first Queen I saw yesterday upon entering RuPaul's DragCon 2017. Our eyes locked! It was ❤️. She told me about how she'd pitched dressing as Pepper in RuPaul's Drag Race, but they didn't give her permission till 2 hours prior--not nearly enough time to pull off those prosthetics. 😭The silver lining is... we have a plan for next time! 😉

Wednesday I traversed the country twice; consequently, Thursday I was gimping around like Quasimodo. Today, I'm balancing on my elbows! I'm the wolverine!!

West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin was ALSO giving a speech in the smaller room just down the hall. Apparently the Pepper fans outnumbered the coal miners! Better add meatloaf to your party platform, Senator!!

Looking forward to 8 hours on the east coast tomorrow, 1 of which I'll spend at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, giving a speech! (Looking less forward, however, to the 8 hours get there, and the 8 hours to get back...all within 24 hours.) #leggings
