Last night in Napa, at the @mywinesociety & @feastitforward launch, someone wrote, “Naomi Grossman, ‘Pepper’ from @ahsfx was here” on the bathroom wall. 😳When they brought it to my attention (assuming I did it), I was, of course, horrified! Though offered to at least authenticate it (since I WAS, in fact, there). So I did, with a big, uncircumcised penis (which is how YOU KNOW I’ve been there!). The owner was, in turn, horrified, but I promised to blow up her social media to make up for it. This is my friend, Ken Brisbois. We studied drama at @northwesternu together, then moved out to Hollywood and roomed together, all the while dreaming of the day we’d make movies together. That day finally came yesterday (well, today... they wrapped me at 4am). Just goes to show: do what you have to do until you can do what you want to do! Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations... like this film set in Orlando! 🎥

I pride myself on being supportive, and accessible (within reason), but this is her third email this week... 😬🔫 Aspiring actors should know: if you want to act, ACT. Take a class, join an improv team, get involved with your local theatre. If that’s not an option (or even if it is), create your own content: on stage, online, on your front porch! (That’s what I did as a kid.) If you build it, they will come. Read Chekhov, watch Kubrick, do ANYTHING but stalk actors, requesting show-runners’ emails. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks!
