You know that game, “if you could have dinner with ANYONE in the world, living or dead— who would it be?” Well, that person for me— since I was age 10 and saw her do her solo show, “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe”— was always, unquestionably, Lily Tomlin. THAT was the moment, there at the Denver Center, when I looked up at her on stage and said, “THAT’s what I want to be when I grow up.” And I never vacillated once since. Had pictures of her up in my locker, won the school talent show doing her monologues, and channelled her when I wrote & produced my own. Well, last night, it actually happened. I had dinner with my idol. (ARGENTINE STEAK-dinner, no less!) I’m done. I can die happy now! Thank you, Bob Bergen for giving me this opportunity, Patrika Darbo for making (despite the fires!) my dream come true, and to my fellow Television Academy PGEC board for your service & friendship. Enjoyed breaking bread with you too! (Just haven’t been obsessed with you for the last +30 years… till now!).

I’m with her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her, and her... #timesup #womensmarch #dumptrump #notmypresident #resist #riseup #pollsforthepeople #grabembytheballot — attending Women’s March Los Angeles 2018 at Pershing Square Park Downtown LA.

Thank you all for racing to my rescue yesterday! The get-well comments, texts, and calls all WORKED!! I feel FANTASTIC, with the one exception: knowing I have to go a week or two without Yoga. (Which FEELS like the end of the world.) But that’s not to say I don’t still have a back-log of Yoga pics to post! ðĪŠððž Wardrobe by: Orange Cosmic Mermaid; Photo by: Koyu.

Ended 2017 in the most perfect way possible: reuniting with one of my most treasured friends, Tim Dans, who I last saw 25 years ago when we were living in Argentina. Tim is deaf... with a wicked sense of humor. He used to hold his finger to his mouth and shush me... Even he knew what a loud-mouth I was! ð Sorry for yammering your ear off, amigo mÃo! Just so happy to see you!! ð❤️ðĶð·

Last night I met my ultimate fanboy: Daryle Koltay, AKA @mister.micro. Daryle has microcephaly-- that's the birth defect that also afflicted Pepper. He and his lovely family travelled 2.5 hours from St. Petersburg, FL to meet me at our An Accidental Zombie - Named Ted red carpet screening last night. Daryle is AWESOME-- a super-fly dresser with an amazing story (check out his feature in People!). I don't know who was more excited to meet who! NOW look who's the crazed fangirl!! ðķðŧðļð(Hair by: Brandon Liberati; styled by: Nicole Balzano.) — watching An Accidental Zombie - Named Ted Full Movie - 2017 at Marion Theater.

This happens almost every time someone buys one of my solo show DVDs, but not the other. It makes me so happy! Because my solo shows are something I did, almost all by myself (though never without my devoted director, Richard Embardo), with my meager, Spanish teacher-budget at the time. It means they're interested in me, and my voice... To date, it's still the work of which I personally am most proud. Thank you, David Beckham, for supporting small, otherwise overlooked theatre!
