This is my friend, Ken Brisbois. We studied drama at @northwesternu together, then moved out to Hollywood and roomed together, all the while dreaming of the day we’d make movies together. That day finally came yesterday (well, today... they wrapped me at 4am). Just goes to show: do what you have to do until you can do what you want to do! Take a class, join an improv team, get involved with your local theatre. If that’s not an option (or even if it is), create your own content: on stage, online, on your front porch! (That’s what I did as a kid.) If you build it, they will come. Read Chekhov, watch Kubrick, do ANYTHING but stalk actors, requesting show-runners’ emails. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks!
