My favorite uncle, #markshields died last night. Aside from being one of the sharpest political pundits on TV, he was the uncle that got me… He truly saw me, and treasured me in all my flamboyant theatricality. Here you can see him doing just that. His voice (whether it be as a commentator on PBS or CNN, or a columnist for the Washington Post) is a tremendous loss to society; but also, me personally. 💔 #rip
